F&O stocks in a strong, accelerating uptrend

Traders who go long through futures or calls want a stock that is already strong and getting stronger, because leverage is unkind to waiting. This screen keeps the F&O names in a confirmed uptrend, ahead of most of the market, above their short-term averages, with a trend our model reads as accelerating. Treat it as a shortlist to study before any trade.

No stocks pass this screen as of 21 Oct 2026.

The exact criteria

Stage Analysis is Stan Weinstein's, published in Secrets for Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets (1988). We apply his framework with our own stage engine, every evening; the five checks below are what this screen filters on. How relative strength works →

  1. 1.In NSE's F&O segment213 pass
  2. 2.Classified Stage 2: a confirmed uptrend690 pass
  3. 3.Relative strength rank is 70 or better623 pass
  4. 4.Price is above the 20-day and the 50-day moving average260 pass
  5. 5.The uptrend is accelerating, on our trend model215 pass

Each count is that rule applied on its own to the whole NSE universe, so you can see which one is doing the work. The list below is the names that pass all of them.

Nothing passes this screen today. That is information too: these filters are strict by design, and an empty list usually means the market is not offering this setup right now.
