Nifty 50 closed at 24,430.3, up 0.7% on the day, though it remains below its 200-day average and 7.2% off its 52-week high. Decliners led advancers 1,288 to 929, so the gain was index-level rather than broad — breadth is improving but still narrow. The bull-rising regime has now held for 24 consecutive days, and the Stage-2 advancing cohort stands at 35% of the market, having widened by 12 over the last 20 sessions and 27 over the last 60. New 52-week highs outpaced new lows 192 to 55, a net of plus 137, which is the more constructive signal beneath the surface.

Sector rotation: Real Estate extends, Health Care and Financials building depth

Real Estate led on the day at plus 1.5% and is the standout across every time frame — up 15.7% over one month and 35.4% over three months. Energy was the second-best sector today at plus 1.4%, though its three-month return sits at minus 2.8%, making today's move a bounce within a lagging trend rather than a sustained theme. Consumer Discretionary added 0.8% on the day.

The more durable rotation signal sits in the Stage-2 expansion data. Health Care is where the advancing cohort is growing fastest over the last 20 sessions, with 48% of its stocks already in Stage 2. Financials and Materials are close behind, both with their Stage-2 cohorts expanding at a similar pace. Health Care also ranks third in the one-month table at plus 7.6% and third over three months at plus 22.4%, so the expansion there has duration behind it.

Standout movers and screening results

Three Industrials names printed 20% or near-20% moves on exceptional volume today: Aartech Solonics Ltd rose 20% on volume running at more than 10 times its average, Kaushalya Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd matched that gain on nearly 40 times average volume, and Mazda Ltd added 19.4% on 38 times average volume. Digitide Solutions Ltd in Information Technology moved 17.9% on volume 111 times its average — the highest volume multiple of the session by a wide margin. These cleared the high-volume screen; the sector context for each varies.
