Stage 2 is the confirmed uptrend phase from Stan Weinstein's methodology — the amber line in the diagram above. A Stage 2 stock is trading above its rising 30-week moving average with expanding volume, meaning buyers are in control. This scanner finds NSE stocks currently in that condition.
Setup score (0–10) ranks Stage 2 stocks by quality — not just how fast they're moving. It weighs the depth of the recent pullback, how strong the sector is, how mature the uptrend is, and how steady the price action has been. Higher score = cleaner structure.
Market Timing tells you whether conditions are right to act on setups at all. It tracks what % of NSE stocks are in Stage 2 uptrends and classifies the current market regime — from Bear to Bull, with Turning, Neutral, and Caution states between. Check it before looking at any individual setups.
