Industrial production (IIP), September 2025: up 6.1%

India's industrial output grew 6.1% in September 2025 from a year earlier, after growth of 4.7% in August, the strongest reading since January 2025. Output has grown for 30 months in a row. In September 2024 it grew 4.7%. The index is on MoSPI's 2022-23 base and covers mining, manufacturing and electricity.
