Industrial production (IIP), September 2024: up 4.7%

India's industrial output grew 4.7% in September 2024 from a year earlier, after growth of 2.1% in August. Output has grown for 18 months in a row. In September 2023 it grew 4.9%. The index is on MoSPI's 2022-23 base and covers mining, manufacturing and electricity.
