GST collections, August 2023: ₹1.47 lakh crore
Gross GST collections were ₹1.47 lakh crore (₹1,47,373 crore) in August 2023, up 10.4% on August 2022, the lowest since May 2023. Revenue from domestic transactions rose 13.6% to ₹1.04 lakh crore, and GST on imports rose 3.5% to ₹43,550 crore. From April to August, gross collections add up to ₹7.71 lakh crore, up 11.3% on the same months a year earlier.
