Get your broker's API keys
Create an app in your broker's developer portal. Each guide walks through every field:

- Zerodha Kite — market data is a paid plan (₹500/month)

- Fyers
Add the keys to your Broker page
Paste them into your Broker page (in the account menu) — they're encrypted at rest and never shared.
Authenticate and go live
On the live desk, click Authenticate, log in on your broker's own site (2FA happens there), and your shortlist goes live. One quick re-authentication each day keeps the session fresh.

Is it safe to add my broker keys?
Your keys are encrypted at rest and never shared. Login and 2FA happen entirely on your broker's own site, so Stage2Stocks never sees your broker password.
Does this place trades?
No. The connection is read-only — it pulls real-time market data and never places orders.
Do I have to authenticate every day?
Yes. Broker sessions expire daily, so you click Authenticate once each day (your broker's login and 2FA) to refresh the live feed.
Which brokers are supported?
IIFL Capital, Zerodha Kite, Upstox and Fyers. You always use your own account. IIFL Capital, Upstox and Fyers charge nothing for API market data; Zerodha Kite's needs a paid plan (₹500/month).
